This guide will help you get prepared for Kotor Nest:

🚕 If you are coming to Tivat airport, you can arrange a transfer with Red taxi company. The fare now ranges between 15€ and 20€, as it's calculated by a taximeter. Send them your name and flight details to +38267019729 (available for WhatsApp/Viber).

If you are coming from Podgorica airport, contact Filip at +38268028802. He is our long-term partner and agreed to offer us a special price of 60€ for the transfers paid in cash. Be sure to mention that you are guests of Kotor Nest, because the regular price is 80€, and don’t forget to have cash with you.

In both cases, they will need your name and flight details, and the driver will wait for you in front of the airport building with your name.

Ask for drop off at the Main gate of the Old Town (Sea gate or Vrata od grada in Montenegrin).

Bus prices from Podgorica are significantly lower (around 7-9€). The bus station is in the city, and you will have to take a taxi to there as there are no shuttles. You can check the bus schedule here.

Kotor bus station is a 10-minute walk from us (roughly 800 meters).

The alternative airport is Dubrovnik in Croatia, you can check the bus schedule here. Again, you have to go to the city and take a bus. The ride takes around 2 hours and includes a border crossing.

Use this Google sheet to organize shared transfers with others.

From the Main gate, follow this map to reach Nest:

👨‍🍳🍳 We love cooking and eating together, it would be amazing if you bring your favorite spice so we can try new flavors. Often we organize family dinners, where few people are in charge of cooking, preferably something authentic from their country.

If you are not a master chef, no worries, we all cook together, and you can always help.

🌊 💭 We organize Nest talks. It’s like a TED talk but in Nest. Anyone can choose an interesting topic and share it with others (optional of course). Usually, it starts at 19.00 in the living room. Requirements to do the talk:

1. Choose a topic and inform the group via WhatsApp

2. Duration: 30 minutes or less with Q&A

📲 We use WhatsApp group for easier communication. As we are sleeping and working in different apartments, this group helps us to organize dinners and activities.

e.g. “Let’s go hiking to Vrmac on Friday” or “anyone want to join for lunch in Taraca?” Please keep in mind that we need to stay productive during the workdays, and don’t use it for memes and distractions too much :)‍

You have received the link to the group in the email.

💡 Please make sure to turn off the lights and air conditions in the rooms and spaces you don’t use, or don’t plan to use in the next 10 minutes.

⚡ In the main building, if the electricity is down, you will find the breaker switch behind the white cabinet with the Kotor Nest sign just next to the entrance of the apartment (in the Heritage apartment it’s behind the mirror).

🔌 Standard European plugs are in use in Montenegro.
